Multi-State Concealed Carry

Persons planning to obtain a concealed carry permit will require training and certification prior to making application for a permit to carry a concealed firearm. Pre-registration is required. Please see our course schedule for class dates and locations. You may go to the course registration page to register.

Midwest Firearms Training’s Multi-State Concealed Carry Permit Training Certification Classes are filled on a first come, first paid basis. Late registrations at the door will be accepted if openings are available. PREPAID REGISTRATION IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. No refunds are given, however,  we will try and place you in a future class, if you call 48 hours in advance.  NO REFUNDS FOR NO SHOWS ON DAY OF CLASS.

NO LIVE AMMO IN THE CLASSROOM!! You may not bring a firearm to the classroom unless you have been authorized by an instructor to do so. All Ammo must remain locked in your vehicle until you are at the range!

On the range, personal hearing and eye protection are required. There will be live-fire exercises where you must draw your handgun. A strong side hip holster, which can be attached to either your trousers or belt will be required. Though suitable for concealed carry, we do not allow shoulder, cross-draw, fanny pack, ankle, pocket, or purse holsters (purse holsters may be used only with the PPITH and PPOTH classes) on the range for safety reasons. You will be required to have a shirt or jacket able to completely conceal your handgun (Usually a jacket or long loose fitting shirt is suitable).

Note: The length of this class and range qualification depends on the time it takes Midwest Firearms Training to meet our objective, which is to get each client qualified to apply for a Concealed Handgun Permit. Our objective is usually accomplished with in 6 to 8 hours of training. See class schedule for more specific class times and cost.

What else should I bring?

  • A modern, functionally safe and fully concealable handgun. The gun you qualify with does NOT have to be the gun you carry. (No single action revolers)
