NRA Pistol Courses Refuse To Be A Victim® Seminars Please contact us to get signed up for the next available class. Description : Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for developing a strategy for ones personal safety. The seminar includes classroom instruction on a variety of crime prevention strategies, from criminal psychology to automobile crimes to cyber crime. Seminars can vary in length, and may be modified to suit the needs of a particular audience. This is not a firearms instruction course, and does not include instruction in physical combat self-defense. Seminars teach about common weaknesses that criminals may take advantage of, and teaches a variety of corrective measures that are practical, inexpensive, and easy to follow. Strategies include home security, carjack avoidance techniques, cyber safety, and use of personal safety devices. A complete seminar may last as long as eight hours and include the entire lesson plan, but a modified seminar may be as short as 90 minutes and address a specific topic. Whether you are interested in getting your Carry Permit, recreational shooting, competition, home safety, or personal protection, we can help!

We offer NRA Certified Firearms Training Courses to help you stay safe. You will learn and develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude that are needed to successfully pursue your interests and goals.

All courses are taught by NRA certified Instructors/Range Safety Officers. Our instructors are Nebraska State Patrol Concealed Handgun Permit Certified Instructors.

New Intermediate Pistol Class!

This is an intermediate level handgun course lasting about 3-4 hours while firing 400-500 rounds at the range. Designed for shooters who are ready to take the next step in handgun fundamentals and prepare themselves for defensive situations either at home or in public.

We will start by making sure you are well-versed on drawing from your holster and using both a two handed and one handed grip. You will be shooting and reloading (strong and weak handed) on the move from varying distances with multiple targets. Malfunction clearing will be taught and used throughout the day.

Confidence and skill sets will be built with basic fundamentals and balance of speed and precision development drills. Shooting from behind cover, kneeling, sitting, moving and even laying down and shooting from a chair!
